Hi James
I got a bit cross and frustrated as I love my Mac! Sorry for my
action. The program would not instal but after a little thought I
worked out that it was the version of X11 I was using. I installed
X11 2.1.1 and all was OK.
But this pops up in a window and and I get an OpenOffice warning that
Apple Event timed out. I click OK in the window and the program
loads. The first thing that opens is the Document Recovery window
below. I click 'Start Recovery' and the document opens. This is not
a worry for me and I do not need a reply to this email.
Best wishes Colin

Hi
I am trying to teach OpenOffice suite and it does not work on my G5
or my intel PowerBook. Please fix it. I am teaching it on Windows;
WOW it works. I am also involved in image manipulation; GIMP that
works on both platforms. I know you are all busy but I do this for
free too.

It might help if you explain why you think it doesn't work. Is it
failing to install? Failing to run? Any error messages? etc.
It's hard to fix something, when you don't know what the problem is.
