original setup program of version 2.0.2 but I lost this file long time
ago and now I cant find a place to download it anymore. I wasn´t told
to keep the original setup program to be able to uninstall the old
version if I ever want to update to a newer version of openoffice.org.
What can I do to uninstall version 2.0.2 or where can I download the
setup program of version 2.0.2

I assume you are using some version of Windows. If not, please disregard
this message and tell us what you are using.
1. Ensure that the old version's Quickstarter is not running. If it is
there will be an icon in the System Tray showing the OpenOffice logo
(blue/grey with two flying birds); right click on it and choose Exit.
2. There is a well known bug in Windows that prevents uninstallation of
programs. Microsoft has a fix for this bug. It's free at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 Please read this and carefully
follow the instructions.
3. Once you have done that, try again to install the new version.
If you still have problems, come back here with details; in particular
the version of Windows you are using and the exact text of any error
message(s) you get when you tried to install the new version.
