What sales page? Did you get OpenOffice.org from http://www.openoffice.org ?
When you create a document in OpenOffice.org, and require a MS Word formatted document, click File > Save As and select the MS Word format from the "Filter" list of available formats (make sure Automatic file name extension is checked). This will save the document in MS Word doc format. you should be able to upload that document to any website that requires MS Word formatted documents. (I've been using that method for several years with no problems)
