.My problem is, I have previously used WordPerfect Version 7 for so long. It has an exellent feature that I can no longer find. That if I had, and who doesn,a problem withe the text not doing what it's supposed to do, then switch on the Reveal Codes and as if by magic you can see the erant code, and by knowing them the document is easily sorted. I Avoid Ms products whenever I can as I really do not want to add to Mr Bill Gates and co.anymore money to his vast fortune. I do have Word 97 and Word 2000 I Don't use them. if I can posibbly avoid it.
So the problem is,. How do I convert WordPerfect 7 files to OpenOffice 2.4 files. Maybe convert them to Word Files (which ones? (97' or 2000) and then re- convert those files to OpenOffice files. This file conversion has been around a long time, so someone somewhere has the answer, and I would be very grateful fo the procedures to be able to to it Wished Open Office had a similar thing as WordPerfect's 'Reveal Codes'.
