The Base component of OpenOffice should meet your need. OpenOffice is a
single package, no separate or partial installation of individual components
is provided.

Download OpenOffice and use only the Base component if all you're after is a
database. The other components, Write, Calc, Impress, and Draw, will be
available for use if you decide you'd like to try them at some point.
