This is almost certainly caused by your Antivirus (AV) software believing the installer file is malware. To overcome it:
1. Disconnect your computer completely from the internet.
2. Disable your AV and firewall software.
3. Install OOo; you won't be able to register because you are not connected to the net; if you are already registered, just say so; if not, just say "register later" or "never register". Note that registration is entirely optional and won't affect your usage of OOo in any way; the developers just like to know roughly how many users there are, approximately where they are and which Operating Systems they are using.
4. Enable your AV and firewall software.
5. Connect your computer to the net; never leave your computer connected to the internet if your AV and firewall software are not both working properly.

If this fails (which I think is unlikely), it is just possible that the file you downloaded is indeed corrupt. To check: 1. Click the "download" tab at the top of the right hand side of the OOo home page (www.openofice.org)
2. Click the "MD5sums" link on the right of the page that opens
3. Read & follow the instructions you get on clicking "Instructions for using MD5sums".

If you still have problems come back here with the details and we'll have another think.
