I don't know about the Mac, but there is no such keyboard command in the linux versions (2.4 or 3.0). However, you can easily create a shortcut using Tools|Customize|Keyboard Then select 'Functions|Edit - Fill Down'. Assign a shortcut key from the top "Shortcut keys' panel. For example, I just tested on 3.0 (linux) using Shift+Insert as the shortcut key & it works just fine.
