up as they should but all the tool buttons have no icons, only text! That
makes the buttons so much bigger and there are not room for them all.

There's a setting for that. At the right end of a tool bar, there's
drop down list arrow. Click on that and select Customize Toolbar.
Click on the Toolbar button and chose what you want.
