Hello again,

If the History Manager extension is installed, you will find it in the top
menu under Tools (or Extra) > Extensions (last item in the droplist) >
History Manager
The History Manager opens with a small window, where you can choose
- the number of files you want in the Recent Files droplist (10 by default)
- clear the list (-->> this will be your option to clear out _all_ files,
not only the ones that don't exist anymore)
- OK / Cancel / About the History Manager

So you can't just delete the files that don't exist, you can only clear the
whole list.
