Just a chance observation, but it seems to me that those having difficulty in unsubscribing are those who are using a PGP signature. This does seem to suppress the 'how to subscribe/unsubscribe' message that appears at the bottom of other posts. Could it also be interfering with the unsubscription process? Just a thought.
