In Writer you can activate the ruler via the main menu. Select View > Ruler (the option number 6 in menu number 3) In calc you cannot retouch the cell size in the print preview (I think). > > 2nd: Microsoft Exel/Word have "print range". In Writer you can decide the pages to be printed in teh Print menu. In Calc you can define the print area in the Format menu as well as the pages to be print in the File > Print menu.
