I do not work with InDesign but its older version PageMaker. This is the way I do it. I open OpenOffice.org and PageMaker After I do the needed stuff to be ready for the OOo document, I then go to the document in OOo and select it copy it paste it in PageMaker using Paste Special and select what ever option you think is best. InDesign CS2 should have similar options, since it is the update to InDnsign CS which was an update to InDesign which was the update to PageMaker 7 - which I use. ---- InDesign CS2 is a great piece of software, but since I was using a laptop with only 80 gig of drive and needed the resulting PDF files to be small for clients, I chose to keep on using my current software instead of upgrading. The only real reason I use PageMaker 7 instead of InDesign is the fact that if you save/print it to a PDF document, the file size of the document is 150% to 200% the size of the PageMake 7 version of the PDF file. I did the testing myself. I had a copy of InDesign CS2 and went back to PageMaker 7.
