I had to do -something similar- by overlaying text blocks over the axis
labels. Finicky work, and slips around at slight provocation, if done
on the "living" graph. If you don't need "update-ability", easier to
screen capture the graph and edit it in a graphic editor, import back as
a jpg or whatever.
