OpenOffice Team, It's not neccasarily a bug, but with your program, I have found a rather inconvienent functionality action. You can discontinue the numbering system, but as soon as you do so and then type another number, it will continue regardless.
It is not user friendly when this happens and is very ubnocious when attempting to continue with homework while the program trys to reinitiate a numbering system and formats my paper again. My suggestion is to make the numbering system on/off button and option conrtollable by the user as is, however, make it to this degree: when the option is toggled off, let the user input its own numbering characters and formatting completely. When toggled on, or back on, assume the numbering convention after the point in which the users cursor is defined.
