I have not used MS WOrd for many years, so am uncertain how the
automatic word completion works there. OpenOffice.org (OOo) has a
feature of "Word Completion" available under "Tools - Autocorrect"
It depends on loading "used" words from a document to make them
available, but works quite well.
Do a search in Help for "completion" and you will find more information.
