Good evening,
I am attempting to open some PDFs in OpenOffice Draw to add text and
pictures to them. They are forms so they contain text and images; most
of the images are rectangles to put text in. OpenOffice keeps trying to
open these files in Writer but with no success.
How can I either save my files in such a way as they can be opened by
OpenPffice Draw or alter my settings such that OpenOffice Draw can read
them as they are?
I have enclosed a sample of the PDFs as this may be of use.
Thanks,
Beth Ashton
Hi Beth
Attachments are normally stripped off by the list server, so your sample
did not arrive.
OpenOffice.org at this stage is able to create .pdfs, but not edit them.
You will have to look at other ways to do this. There are various
programs which claim to be able to do this, depending on what operating
system platform you use.
Of course if you created them in OOo, you can just change them and
re-export.
