Yes. The style for the 'left' page should have the style for the
'right' page specified as its 'next style' ('organiser' tab in the
style's properties), and conversely. Then left and right styles
should automatically alternate through the document, and be
automatically correctly applied as you alter the content.
You can force a particular style with an explicit break specifying a
new style.
I notice that the supplied page styles 'left' and 'right' don't do
this, so you would get a succession of 'left' (or 'right') pages.
