Hello,

I am running a very special installation of Linux (something
like "Linux from Scratch") where I have NO /proc.

Problem: OOo need it!

Question: Why?

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day

Hello,

The first reason is that /proc is part of the Linux Filesystem Hierarchy Standard.

Someone else can explain how OOo needs this.
