You don't delete OpenOffice.org files through Writer. You delete
OpenOffice.org files the same way you delete any other files on your
computer - via the Operating System. Assuming you are using Windows,
that
means by browsing to the file in Windows Explorer, selecting the file by
clicking on it and pressing the delete key or using the File>Delete menu
option.
Actually you can, via the open file panel, where you can right click &
delete.
