Not my day.....

I've a .odg document which is a drawing (A3 landscape fwiw) I made 
some days ago - the content fills right to the 1cm page margins and 
is symmetrically placed on the page.

I needed this as a diagram within a text document, so tried to 
include it as an OLE object. However, I get  asymmetrical margins 
within the included object, probably ok to top and right, but wider 
to the left and below -- that on the left occupies around 20% of the 
object space on the page; this makes the included diagram look a bit 
silly. Scaling the object scales the margins too, as they're part of 
it. 

I can't see any way offhand of correcting this - any ideas please?
