I'm running OpenOffice.org 2.4 (not a network installation), and I have templates both on my HDD and on a network drive. I add both paths to Options>Paths>Templates and when I want to open a template only templates from my local drive appear. I have looked over the configuration files in C:\Documents and Settings\rsimeon\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office and all paths are in order. It just won't display or read from the network drive. Is there anything I can do? This issue has been present from OpenOffice.org 1.0 judging from the posts about it I've found online. Some people say to edit the common.xcu file, but what exactly to edit? How do I get OpenOffice to display templates from a network drive??? HELP!!!!!!!!!!
