Dear Tomek, When you start a new document, just right click in the blank space where your text will appear when you start typing. A menu will appear. Click on Character... and a dialogue box will open. Click on the tab labelled Font. Click on the Language drop down menu and select Polish. You now will see an excellent "OK" button which you can click on. If you want to set your default language to Polish (rather than just certain docs) you can do this in Tools->Options->Language Settings->Languages and in the Default languages for documents->Western select Polish from the drop down menu.
