Hello An update of X11 might help. See http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki Apparently the new X11 that goes with Leopard isn't still very 'mature' and there are some messups between the XQuartz and the X11 released with Leopard updates. I finally just switched to the Aqua version of OOo to be rid of X11 (Aqua OOo 3 beta is working fine for me).
