K3b is a CD/DVD burner - and an excellent one - not a DVD (or CD) player.  K3b 
is offering to copy the disk, if it has data of any kind on it.  Or burn to 
it if it hasn't.

This list is an OOo list.  I think that you meant your query to go to an 
OpenSuSE list.  This is the addressee as it appears on your post:
