Regarding conversion of Office2007 formats -- has anyone tried conversion from older formats (e.g. .doc, .xls)? The released OfficeOpenXML specification is by all accounts incomplete and confusing and may not reflect what is actually implemented in Office2007 (or what will be implemented in the OOXML ISO standard specification, if/when it is finally completed). I suspect you might find conversion from the older formats better supported, and given that the OOXML standard is still in flux, the OOo developers may be wiser to wait before investing a lot of time and effort into OOXML support. How many people actually use the Office2007 native formats anyway? Everyone I know has stayed with the older formats. -- John ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
