Running OO2.4 on Windows Xp
When I execute a query, the form opens up to a full screen. I would prefer
it open to a quarter screen. I resize the frame and the next time I run the
query, it is back to full screen. I can't see how to prevent this from
happening. There is no save file option after I resize, and I can't find any
way to adjust the properties of the query.
In Access, I can run a query, adjust the size of the frame, and do a save
file. The next time I run the query, the frame is the size that I adjusted
it to.
Well - as you have shown yourself that doesn't work in Base. If the Base
main window is open full size then the query window will open so also,
if the Base main window is not open full size then the query window will
open in something less then full size ( sorry, I don't have a better way
to say that )
If you are just using the query to get a subset of the data ( not
changing the actual query all the time ) then you might really want to
consider using a form - then you can adjust the size as you like. ( You
must save the form after opening it in edit mode for the new size to be
retained )
