Are you running Vista by any chance? I was installing some software for my uncle the other day and Vista complained about everything that didn't come from Microsoft. Incidentally, Microsoft has a history of generating bogus error messages, when a competitors software is used.
If you're worried about the file, you can do an md5sum check, as described on the OO site. IIRC, there's a link to that from the download page.
