Appreciate this open source program very much and really want to use it but can't figure out how to get it to work on my macBook OS 10.4.11. The scenario: I downloaded Open Office using Safari (only to learn down the road after the entire installation OpenOffice and X11 into my macBook that I should have gotten OpenOffice with FireFox because Safari doesn't download FTP files(??). Now I have all the downloaded open office stuff but am afraid to trash it and start over downloading with Firefox because the Safari one may be attached to other applications on my computer. I have no idea why when I open the openoffice in applicaitons all I get is a window called "Xterm" and this is all I can get: "user-12-120-138-193:~ Barbara$" the window seems to want me to enter some code or something. Anybody know what I can do or what I should fill in the Xterm window?
