Thanks for the offer. After much messing around a local friend suggested fixmymovie.com. It takes a long time because they probably have only one computer processing everyone's requests, but eventually it converted my .flv file and upsampled it to four times the resolution. Looks great now. However, I still have a slight problem. Fixmymovie.com allows me to download the fixed movie only as .mov, .flv or .wmv files. I downloaded all three, but Impress on my Linux computer can use only the .mov file. It looks and plays great on my Linux computer. However, I need to display this video in a classroom which has only a Windows XP computer. The university does have OOo 2.2 installed on the computer. I can open my Impress file, but when I try to play the .mov video I get an error message. Evidently on my computer Impress 2.4 Linux can play a .mov file, but not Impress Windows on the university's computer. I'm guessing it has something to do with .mov codecs that Microsoft did not want to license from Apple. I'm going to try to convert the .mov file to something that OOo/Windows can play. Keep your fingers crossed. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
