Hmm, can the moderators not setup a SIMPEL filter which let
"special users" bypass the moderators box?

If I would run a ML over procmail I would do something like:

    FORM=`formail -I Reply-To: -I Return-Path: -r -t -czx To:`
    :0
    * ! ? grep "${FROM}" /path/to/subscribed_users
    * ! ? grep "${FROM}" /path/to/whitelisted_users
    .Moderators_Box/
