Before removing OpenOffice you need to stop all its processes,
especially the Quickstarter. If this is running there will be an icon
for it in the System Tray. It is grey and shows two flying birds. Right
click on this icon and chose Exit. Now you should be able to remove the
software via the Control Panel.
If not, you could try installing and running the Microsoft program that
fixes a well known bug in the Microsoft Installer. This bug prevents
software being removed. The program is free at
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301> . I do not know if there is an
Italian version.
