(using OO.o v2.0 on XP+SP2)

There are some (or all) sort(s) of automatic completion
that I'd like to be able either to control or turn off completely.

        By way of preface,
this is *not* an issue of filespec completion
when selecting a file to open or close.

The following may just be different facets of the same thing,
or may be two different things altogether:

I have a spreadsheet in which I record various activities.
In a given column, I may have entries such as
        compile comp A
        compile conponent B
        edit A
        edit component B
        test
test the compiled and linked modules

The next time I try to enter something in that column,
if I want to enter
compile, link, and test modules A, B, and C
I get as far as "comp", and Calc automatically fills in
the rest with one of the first two things I already entered.
(I haven't yet determined a pattern to which one it picks.)
I then have to delete using <BS> to get rid of all the other stuff,
and continue from there. Only, as soon as I enter the "i",
it does the same thing all over again.

How can I turn this off?

As with Writer (see previous post),
I can go to Tools->Autocorrect... and find tabs /Replace\, /Exceptions\,
/Options\, and /Custom Quotes\, but I'm not finding any of my long
strings in any of those tables, so that I can delete them,
nor am I finding any checkbox to turn off a feature that has this effect.
