The following seems to be unrepeatable unfortunately :-(
I was editing a short presentation, and had two problems. Firstly, it
suddenly decided that a slide show would stick after one particular
slide. There was no way it would get beyond this slide - even
'rehearse timings' stopped the clock with the mouse click, and stuck.
('esc' would get back to the editor always though).
However (worse) when I tried to save the project, I just got an
uninformative 'general i/o error' -- this applied to 'save' and 'save
as' to anywhere. However, it was still possible to create a new
project in the same directory and cut'n'paste every slide into it,
and save the new one.
After exiting the original (without a save), I find that the file
will reopen and save, nice as pie :-)
I'm just glad there were only five slides to copy over - it's a
rather nasty fault. Anyone else seen anything like this? Oh, and the
'stuck' slide transition has gone, too, not surprisingly perhaps.
2.4/XP, using a local disk drive, btw.
