Both these comments indicate that you have downloaded from the wrong
place. The "right" place is www.openoffice.org and the file you get, for
Windows, is a ".exe" and *not* a ".zip". Also, www.openoffice.org places
no restrictions whatsoever on the number of times you download the file.
I hope you haven't paid for what you downloaded because the
OpenOffice.org software is completely free to download *and* to use; no
payment of any sort is required although we welcome contributions ;-)
Documentation is also free via the web site as is support via this mail
list (run by volunteers) and via various other internet- and web-based
groups.
