Acrobat Reader and OpenOffice.org are not redundant to each other. I
expect you will get poor results compared to Adobe Acrobat Reader, which
requires only a small portion of today's huge hard drives, so why go
through the hassle?

It's not intended to do that. I would keep Acrobat Reader around.
