I miss treating the paragraph marker as a searchable item. In my log files I often get spurious extra paragraphs that I want to delete by a simple "Search and Replace All" with the Word term being ^p^p -> ^p. Given that a shift-enter, \n, is allowed in the search terms and allowed as the term for replace with and there it acts as a paragraph return it would seem that it should be possible for the search term itself.
This is possible in OpenOffice, in fact. Just search for ^$ and replace with nothing (with "Regular expressions" ticked, of course).
I trust this helps. Brian Barker --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
