I'm not sure if you mean the SUN Report Builder (SRB) extension of the
Base report wizard.
I think the report builder from your problems.
Using SRB 1.0.4 if you Insert>Date only it is fine.
If you then Insert>Page Numbers of type Page n, it continues to be correct.
But
There is a bug that was verified a few days ago that if you Insert>Page
Numbers type of Page n or m, then the date is corrupted. If you insert
the page n of m field in the report footer the report date on page one
is correct but from page 2 on it is wrong. If you insert the field in
the report header, it does just what you say - looks good a few seconds
and then corrupts..
The format bug has been there for a while IIRC. I will have to double
check, but only to see if it has been flagged as fixed and waiting on a
release...I know it was entered.
