Just thought I'd update to 2.4.1 from 2.4. I'm running bhodemon (this under XP - it's some IE anti-malware protection; part of my general paranoia) This warned during the java update. That's OK and expected. But the OOo installation then tells me about "Files in use", listing only BHODemon, and asking me to close the app and retry.
Its no big deal - but why should it be asking anything at all about bhodemon in the first place? And another oddity - although I don't run Word etc, I prefer not to let OOo open the MS filetypes, so always make sure the relevant tick boxes are clear during installation. This time, the dialogue box asking about this had the Excel box pre-ticked, the others (Word etc) being clear. Wierd behaviour. (I really do feel the installation should clear up the temporary directory it creates, or at least ask about doing this. It might save some of the confusion that seems to be expressed here from time to time.) -- Permission for this mail to be processed by any third party in connection with marketing or advertising purposes is hereby explicitly denied. http://www.scottsonline.org.uk lists incoming sites blocked because of spam [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
