The option you used seems to be to configure mail merge. To send a file you 
should use (on the english menus!) File/Send/ and then one of the email 
options (probably use Email as PDF if you don't know what the person you are 
sending it to wants). This should open your email program (Outlook or 
Thunderbird?) with the file attached.
