I keep needing to redraw my document 3 or 4 times a day. Ghost images for no apparent reason keep getting stuck on my page. My memory allocation in Options is set to 100 MB which should be enough. If it isn't please advise me.

The shortcut key for redrawing is Ctrl-Shift-R, which for some reason I keep forgetting and there is no mention of redraw in the help index. As a solution I would like to add redraw to my 'Window' menu and/or add a redraw icon to the tool bar. But ... I cannot find the actual command to use. Is it "redraw"? Nothing in help or customization confirms
that. The simple command "redraw" is not working for me.

Second problem, I would like to set short cut keys for 'page up' and 'page down' but again cannot find the appropriate command. Page up and down in this case does NOT mean screen page. In addition to screen page (PageUp & PageDown on my keyboard) I want to be able to move one full printable page. The Navigator calls this 'previous page' and 'next page'. I use this a lot. I would like to assign the command to, say, Ctrl-PageUp and Ctrl-PageDown. I have searched the help index and all the customization options for the actual command to attach in order to do this. I accept that sometimes I can't see for looking. But I am stumped.

I hope you will not think me patronizing if I tell you how to find the answer to this sort of problem. You may need it again and others may like to know.

If you know the keyboard shortcut - as you do for the first problem - you can trace the relevant function by looking that up. Go to Tools | Customize... | Keyboard and scroll down in the "Shortcut keys" window to your Ctrl+Shift+R. You will see the function is called Restore View. Now search the Function windows for the appropriate entry. You will quickly find it in the View category. You can now move to the Menus or Toolbars tab and use their respective Add... buttons to add the function to a menu or toolbar, as you require.

The second problem is not as easy. If you go back to the Function windows, you will see the Navigate category includes Previous Page and Next Page functions, but these are bound by default to PageUp and PageDown and evidently not what you require. There are a number of alternatives in the Navigate category, and you may like to experiment to see if any are close to what you need. I'm not sure that anything exactly matches the behaviour of the Navigator buttons, but you may find "To Begin of Previous Page" and "To Begin of Next Page" close enough.

I trust this helps.
