When I run "setup" from the OOH680_m17_native_packed-1_en-US.9310
folder, it fails. Clicking on "Details" shows "Adding Required
Package..." for all the *openoffice.org-core*" packages followed by
"Packages Path: /root/OOH680_m17_native_packed-1_en-US.9310".
"Checking change installation" shows -
rpm --query openoffice.org-core02
Returns: 1 package is not installed
The "Analyzing system database" section indicates that none of the *core
packages have been installed.
Trying the run the RPMS (rpm -Uvih *rpm*) gives -

All the /bin and /usr/bin objects are present and in my (root's) PATH.
I've managed to install Openoffice.org using a Slackware package from -
http://www.linuxpackages.net/pkg_details.php?id=7951
but I'd still like to know what is going wrong with the standard installer.
Any suggestions, anyone?
