I am assuming you are using some species of Windows; if not, please tell us what you are using because what I'm going to say next probably won't apply. It's *almost* certain that your problem is caused by your Antivirus (AV) software and/or your Firewall (FW) believing the installer program is malware (virus, spyware, ...) so: 1. Disconnect your computer completely from the internet - pull the modem/router plug from the phone socket. 2. Disable your AV and FW software 3. Run the installer; you won't be able to register because you don't have an internet connection so just say "register later". 4. Enable your FW and AV software 5. Connect to the internet - never leave your computer connected to the net if your AV and FW are not both running properly.
