On a Dell Optiplex GX110 with Windows ME and OO 2.1, I was using an Epson LQ

In order to use a color printer, also using a parallel cable connection, the
Epson was temporarily disconnected. Upon reconnecting the Epson, I could not
get the Epson to print again. This was going to Control Panel and deleting the
Color Printer, still no Epson printing.
I then tried deleting the Epson and reinstalling the Epson and still was unable
to get it to print.
Would anyone have any idea on how to handle this problem?
Thanks. Al Evans
This is a support group for OpenOffice, a free, open source competitor
to Microsoft office. It is run by users who volunteer time to help other
users. You need support from Microsoft and/or Epson or possibly a local
Windows guru. There are many web forums devoted to Windows ME and to
Epson printers. Google is your friend. Have you tried setting the
(re-connected) Epson as your default printer?
