Hello Beth, I'm afraid I can't really help you. I suppose you consulted all the info available at http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11-102.html (you must have some courage to go through this install process...!!) On a Mac, you can normally drag files and programs to the trash... unless you don't have the privileges.
