I am using a REAL database called PostgreSQL even local.

At some customers which MUST use M$ Access it was not a singel problem
since the ODBC driver is working perfectly.

My own PostgreSQL is now over 1.2 TByte using curently 45 SCSI disks of
147 GByte I personaly use my own Intranet Interface (PHP5) but some of
my coworkers are using commerial products to access the database. There
was never a problem since over 8 years.

What does have a printer problem to do with OpenOffice?

Here I am using CUPS and it works...

OK, I have setup an dedicated Print-Server for my 7 printers (LPT ones)
but it works perfectly...
