Your test is not what I was trying to do. I am only typing a hyphen, nothing else. The solution is to press enter before moving to another cell (although enter moves the cursor down one cell). The reason I'm clicking on other cells is because I'm quickly entering data into various places in a spreadsheet, and sometimes I want to move to another cell, so I click on it.
