I never assumed guilt nor innocence. I identified the most likely
source of the problem and proceeded in a friendly manner to help.

Oh no! Someone calls your publicaly available phone number to help you
because he wrongly thinks that you may have a problem that you don't
know how to deal with, and you'd be cross? You are a bit too sensitive
