You need Notes.
o Position the cursor.
o Go to Insert | Note... .
To view the note, hover the cursor over the yellow marker.
The default is not to print these, but you can control what gets
printed and where either at Tools | Options... | OpenOffice.org
Writer | Print | Notes, or on the fly via the Options... button in
the Print dialogue.
