Dear Sirs and Ladies,
Having recently acquired a new computer with OpenOffice, I have tried to
sort Column B alphabetically on the Spreadsheet, but have been unable to do
so. The "Sort" buttons at the top don't seem to work.
With anticipated thanks for your response, I remain, Yours truly, Albert J.

Hi Albert

You don't say what version of OOo you are using (Help - About), but I just tried in 2.4.1 and if I highlight the column label - "B" in your case, then I can use the icons in the toolbar to sort ascending of descending, or I can go to Data - Sort and then choose from the menu there. I found that I had to select some data before it became available to sort.

Does that help?

Russell
