Open a terminal and then OOo without the document with the eps in it opened. In the terminal: ps ax | grep office Now open a second terminal and open the eps OOo document and again in the second terminal: ps ax | grep office See if perhaps you are experiencing this bug: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=82776 [Inserted EPS graphics causes many defunct processes] duplicate of: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=88663 [sal: not waiting on successful forks but subsequent process failure] which is 3.0 but I don't really understand why it is a 'duplicate'. Further, the last comment in 88993 is: <quote> hro: no time to integrate this patch for 3.0. Sorry, need to re-target to 3.1. </quote> which doesn't look very promising at this time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
